We dismantled the existing timber-pole adventure course and replaced the primary structure with galvanised and powder coated steel columns and beams, while reusing as many of the existing activity elements, guy wires, ground anchors and safety system as possible.
Planning Requirements
To meet planning requirements and ensure the structure blended sympathetically with the surrounding landscape, the steelwork was finished with a natural colour scheme, using brown powder-coated columns to represent tree trunks and green powder-coated beams to reflect the woodland canopy.
The completed structure is a two-level adventure cube, constructed from galvanised and powder-coated steel, featuring four activity elements on each level. It incorporates the Lock D continuous belay safety system and has been designed with the future potential to add a lower-level course, allowing the facility to be expanded as demand grows.
