PPE Inspections

PPE inspections are a legal requirement under LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998) which states that all equipment used as PPE, or for maintaining a load or lifting, should have regular inspections. It also states that all equipment, both PPE and load bearing, should have a written inspection record by a competent, independent person every six months.

When to Inspect?

PPE inspections are required every 6 months and are mandatory. We can offer flexible hours, working around your clients.



Inspection Authority?

Your inspection body should be fully certified, audited and accordance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998)



Responsibility?

As an operator it is your legal responsibility to ensure that both PPE and load bearing, should have a written inspection record.


