This constructor / instructor course will qualify you for safely setting up (and dismantling) a Temporary Low Ropes Course and correctly running sessions.
By designing a series of ropes and cables (often between trees) groups can be challenged to complete a variety of tasks where the emphasis is on safety and co-operation as well as individual achievement. The Temporary Low Ropes Course can be used in a variety of ways, including as a series of activities which involve a degree of risk taking – both mental and physical. Although only a couple of feet above the ground, the low ropes courses can foster skills such as trust, planning and communication.
This course meets the standard for a person to be qualified as a European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) Temporary Low Ropes Course Instructor.
There will be both practical and theory sessions to enable the group to cover the entire syllabus.
