Work at Height for Ropes Courses and Artificial Structures

Instructor Training Courses

Who is this course for?

Work at Height Regulations apply to all work at height where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury.

It is essential that all persons undertaking work at height, such as for inspections, maintenance and repair work on ropes courses or artificial structures have the appropriate theoretical knowledge and practical experience to undertake the work safely.

This 3-day training course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills to access structures normally found in the adventure industry such as climbing walls, ropes courses, zip wires and other artificial structures in order to comply with the Work at Height Regulations. Candidates will learn various methods of accessing used in this field through both theoretical and practical sessions.

Candidates will be assessed though completion of a short theory question paper and a practical assessment covering the safe methods of work at height and accessing on a ropes course or artificial structure.
